About ExactFit
ExactFit makes photos and documents meet official specifications — passport and visa photos, ID photos, signatures and file-size limits — in one step, with a checklist that shows each requirement was met. Everything is free and funded by advertising.
How we verify specifications
- Every number comes from an official source: a government department, embassy or licensing authority. The source link is shown on the page.
- Each spec has a “last verified” date. Specs older than 180 days are queued for re-verification.
- If we can’t confirm a rule from an official source, we don’t publish it. Today 30 specs are published and 33 are awaiting verification.
- Rules are written in our own words. Where an authority forbids edited photos (for example digitally replaced backgrounds), our tool respects that by default.
Privacy by architecture
Face detection, background segmentation, cropping, compression and PDF processing run in your browser using WebAssembly and on-device models. There is no server that receives your files. See the privacy policy.
Not a government site
ExactFit is independent and not affiliated with any government. We can’t guarantee acceptance: the issuing authority makes the final decision. Always confirm with the official source linked on each page.
